LOCAL MISSIONS-IHN

Loving Locally:

We are involved in several local outreach ministries throughout southwest Ohio.  Our main concentration is to Family Promise, also known as Interfaith Hospitality Network of Warren County (IHN).  Dave Churchill is our Missions team leader and can be contacted at cobblestone200@yahoo.com.

Family Promise/Interfaith Hospitality Network

Once a quarter Cobblestone Church provides meals and support to several homeless families through Interfaith Hospitality Network.  These families are part of a program that focuses on helping them to obtain permanent housing by providing meals, hospitality and support while maintaining the integrity and dignity of the family during this critical time as they seek to build a better life.  To have a successful IHN week, we need several volunteers throughout the week.

Kairos Prison Ministry

Our involvement with Kairos Prison Ministry is for both Women and Men.  By visiting the prison several times a year,  we are able to share the love of Jesus with those incarcerated.  We also collect and distribute Christmas gifts and school supplies to the families of those incarcerated.

Hope House

During the summer months, Cobblestone sends a team once a month to do yard work at this Women’s Shelter.
